Amazon Prime Day 10th Anniversary: Producing a 6-Day Live Prime Pod

How Frizzon and Amazon.in created and produced the PRIME POD a live, six-day content experience celebrating 10 years of Prime.

6 days. 1 pod. 10 years of Prime.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Amazon Prime Day, Amazon and Frizzon came together to create the all-new PRIME POD a live content experience designed to bring the world of Prime to life.

But this wasn't simply a set built around a collection of products.

From a production standpoint, the PRIME POD was conceived as a living, breathing home for Prime, designed to stay live on air for six consecutive days.

From concept and set design to lighting, technical production, talent management and live streaming, the production brought together multiple disciplines to create a seamless live experience for audiences on Amazon.in.

The Brief: Celebrate 10 Years of Prime Through Live Content

The PRIME POD was created as part of Amazon's celebration of 10 years of Prime, with the ambition to turn a physical branded space into a dynamic live content environment.

The format was built around a simple but powerful question:

"What's Prime in your life?"

Over six days, the pod became a space where creators, comedians, entertainers and personalities could explore what Prime meant to them while also bringing audiences closer to the people, products and experiences associated with the platform.

The PRIME POD went live every evening from 7 PM to 9 PM, streaming on Amazon.in.

Six Days of Live Production

Keeping a branded live production running for six consecutive days requires much more than creating a visually impressive set.

The PRIME POD needed to function as a complete live production environment — with the set, technology, lighting, talent and production workflows all working together night after night.

The result was a production ecosystem built to deliver a consistent live experience across:

  • 6 consecutive days of live programming

  • 2 hours of live content every evening

  • 7 PM–9 PM live broadcast window

  • Amazon.in as the streaming destination

  • A custom-built PRIME POD designed specifically for the experience

The pod had to look good on camera, function efficiently for live production and remain adaptable enough to host a diverse roster of guests.

Building a Home for Prime

The production challenge began with the physical environment itself.

The PRIME POD wasn't simply a backdrop. It was designed as an active content space where hosts and guests could interact naturally while products and Prime-related experiences remained part of the environment.

That meant the set needed to balance brand presence, visual storytelling and live production functionality.

Every element from the set and staging to lighting and technical infrastructure had to support the demands of a multi-day live broadcast.

A Host and Guest Line-Up Built for Live

The PRIME POD brought together a diverse group of hosts and guests, each bringing a different perspective and personality to the format.

The show was hosted by Prime Paglus, Vagmita (@ThatIndianChick) and SharmaJiKaBadaBeta, who anchored the live experience and guided conversations around the central question: What's Prime in their life?

The guest roster brought together personalities from across entertainment, gaming, travel, technology and digital culture.

Comedy Meets Prime Deals

Comedians Gaurav Kapoor and Kullu brought humour and energy to conversations around Prime deals, adding a strong entertainment layer to the live format.

Gaming, Travel and Technology

Gaming creator Kaash Plays, travel creator and entrepreneur Tanya Khanijow, and technology creator Dhananjay offered audiences a glimpse into their lives beyond their respective areas of expertise.

A Final Dose of Entertainment

Actor-turned-creator Kishwer Merchant brought the six-day experience to a close, giving the PRIME POD a final burst of personality and energy.

The diverse talent mix helped ensure that every live session could feel distinct while remaining connected to the central Prime narrative.

The Production Behind the Pod

A successful live branded experience depends on what audiences see but just as much on everything they don't.

For six consecutive days, the production team had to ensure that the PRIME POD was ready to go live every evening.

That involved coordinating:

Concept & Creative
Developing a format and environment that could support six days of live conversations.

Set Design & Staging
Creating a physical pod that functioned both as a branded environment and a practical live production set.

Lighting
Building a lighting setup that maintained a strong on-camera look across different conversations and guests.

Technical Production
Managing the infrastructure required to take the production live and keep it running consistently.

Talent & Guest Management
Coordinating a varied roster of hosts and guests across the six-day schedule.

Live Broadcast & Streaming
Bringing the complete experience to audiences live on Amazon.in every evening.

From Concept to Camera, Set to Stream

The PRIME POD demonstrates what happens when a branded content idea is treated as a complete live production ecosystem.

It wasn't just about designing a pod.

It was about creating a space that could host, entertain, engage and broadcast repeatedly and reliably over six days.

Every night, the same physical environment had to transform into a fresh live experience, with different guests, conversations and moments while maintaining a consistent production and visual identity.

The Result: A Live Home for 10 Years of Prime

Over six days, the PRIME POD became more than a production set.

It became a live content destination celebrating a decade of Prime through conversations, comedy, creators, technology, travel, gaming and entertainment.

From the first concept to the final stream, the production brought together creative, set design, lighting, technology, talent and live production to create an experience built around one milestone.
